www.alzonline.net

Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Online is an Internet and telephone-based education and support service to caregivers of elders with Alzheimer’s and other progressive dementias. This site is available in Spanish. Though this site is based in Florida and targeted toward those in Florida, you will find most of the site valuable and pertinent for all caregivers. AlzOnline.net has an extensive reading list with helpful information on bathing, driving, and planning for the future. The Expert Forum contains actual presentations from doctors and researchers detailing current trends and answering frequently asked questions. You can see and hear the presentation over the internet using audio playback and Powerpoint slide viewing. There is a message board where caregivers can share information and post questions regarding Alzheimer’s disease and care and hear back from others who have similar experiences. A well designed and informative site, AlzOnline.net is for anyone interested in the syndrome of Alzheimer’s.
