Based on Joanne Koenig-Coste's recent book, Learning to Speak Alzheimer's, we will explore how families and caregivers can communicate more acceptingly and less stressfully with those who have the disease, as well as how to modify their environment for optimum independence

 
Clinic sites include Sacramento and Martinez. These clinics have been serving communities in Northern California since 1985. Satellite clinics in Oakland and Stockton improve services to minority and underserved residents.
