Saturday, June 22 150 people attended the Ninth
Annual Art Gala sponsored by the Greater Sacramento Chapter
of the Alzheimer’s Association which raised $14,000 for
its cause. In an environment filled with live music, wine tasting
and hors d’ oeuvres, people were inspired by the art of
those with Alzheimer’s or related dementia. The theme—Jeans
and Jewels—alluded to the attire of the evening and the
