This one-day community conference is designed to offer comprehensive educational opportunities for family caregivers and interested professionals involved in the care of persons with Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementias

Keynote speakers include Dr. Ladson Hinton, Education and Information Care Director of the UC Davis Alzheimer’s Disease Center who will provide conference attendees with information on Depression and Dementia.  We are also pleased to welcome David Troxel, MPH, and Virginia Bell co-authors of their most recent book, “The Best Friends Book of Alzheimer’s Activities.” Other workshop topics include—Updates on Research—Love, Sex, and Alzheimer’s Disease; How to turn Sticky Situations into Smooth Solutions; Continuum of Care Panel; Caregiving through Poetry; and much more

Clinic sites include Sacramento and Martinez. These clinics have been serving communities in Northern California since 1985. Satellite clinics in Oakland and Stockton improve services to minority and underserved residents.
