Based on the critically acclaimed book of the same name by David Shenk, this 90-minute broadcast is an all-encompassing look at a disease that 95% of Americans feel is a serious national problem. Covering the science and human sides of Alzheimer's this nationwide broadcast will be followed by a 30-minute local show produced by Sacramento board member Pat McConahay of KVIE. The local show is designed to answer practical questions and point audiences to valuable community resources. The Alzheimer's Association is a National Partner Organization in the creation and promotion of this special. Check your local public television listings.

Clinic sites include Sacramento and Martinez. These clinics have been serving communities in Northern California since 1985. Satellite clinics in Oakland and Stockton improve services to minority and underserved residents.
